20
acres devoted entirely to strawberries and over 100 tonnes
a year, it's strawberry heaven at Boddingtons! Established
in the 1940s, the farm is now run by the third generation
of the Boddington family. Situated on the outskirts of the
picturesque working fishing village of Mevagissey, Boddingtons
benefits from mild climate and fertile soil, producing exceptionally
tasty strawberries.
We
stock their jam in the Breakfast Box and our range of
Cornish Cream Teas. The conserve is very
high fruit content, 80g of fruit per 100g of jam. It's made
in small batches, by hand, using a traditional open pan cooking
method and farmhouse recipe.
No
artificial preservatives or setting agents are used and the
conserve is only produced in the summer season with their
own whole fruits.
